    DOMESTIC CARPET CLEANING QUESTIONS

    Are you a trained carpet cleaner ?

    We are fully trained to clean carpets by Cleansmart and have been qualified since 2015. Attending such a training course allows us to identify fibres and clean safely. 

    Are you insured ?

    We carry full insurance for the items we work on which gives you peace of mind.

    What payment options do you offer ?

    We accept payment via cash or bank transfer before we leave the premises. We also carry a card reader if required. 

    What do i need to do before your arrival ?

    We ask that all carpets are vaccumed prior to our arrival. Please let us know if this is not possible as we can prvide this service at a small extra cost. Large items of furniture such as bookcases, dressers, tv stands etc will either need to be moved prior to our arrival or like most customers left in place so we can work around them. We can move things such as sofas or small tables if needed. 

    How long do carpets take to dry ?

    Depending on ventilation and weather conditions it can be anywhere between 1 and 6 hours although typically 2 hours is average. Please avoid standing on carpets until they are touch dry where possible. 

    Should my carpets smell after they are cleaned ?

    Very rarely depending on carpet fibre type you may notice a smell for a few days after cleaning. This should resolve itself on its own. Please give us a call back if you are concerned. 

    Do you need access to electricity and water ?

    We need access to electricity, without this we simply cant operate our machinery. We can carry with us if necessary  but ideally access to hot water is preferred.

    Can you remove staining ?

    We carry a wide range of chemicals to remove stains. However depending on the wear of the fibres and the particular substance that has caused the stain we cannot guarnatee to fully remove everything. We will try our best but ultimately no carpet cleaner can guarantee this. 

    COMMERCIAL CARPET CLEANING QUESTIONS

    Do we need to provide parking ?

    We will need to park at the property to be cleaned. We cannot park anywhere we do not have permission. If you do not have private parking at your commercial premises then we will need to make arrangements to park close by and may need further permission from councils etc. 

    Do you have public liabilty insurance ?

    On top of the insurance we carry to cover items worked on we also carry public liability insurance up to £5m. Please inform us if you need specific insurance to clean your commercial property. 

    Do you work safely ?

    We carry all the required safety equipment such as PPE, cones etc and always proved a risk assessment and method statement.
